Learjet LR 60 - Lear 60
The new Lear 60 is the newest model of the original Lear 55 line or aircraft. It was first delivered in 1993 and featured a longer fuselage and newer more powerful engines. The Lear 60 is recognizable by its low/straight wing with winglets and its delta fins under the tail. The 60 has two rear fuselage mounted engines and a swept T-tail with swept horizontal stabilizer. The fuselage has square cabin windows with 6 on the right and 5 on the left. The 60 carries up to 9 passengers and is piloted by a 2 man crew. The Learjet 60 cruises at 465 knots and has a range of 2735 nautical miles. The Learjet 60 is one of the newest and most popular mid-size, high-speed business jets in service today. Passengers prefer an aircraft of this class because of its cabin size, comfort, speed and range. It is well suited for longer domestic flights, traveling non-stop up to 2,800 miles at a normal cruising speed of 515 mph and can attain an altitude of 41,000 feet in just 19 minutes. Panorama's Learjet 60's state-of-the-art integrated avionics system includes TCAS II with enhanced Ground Proximity warning system, dual HF's, and dual GPS's, therefore fulfilling RVSM certification requirements.
The Learjet 60 combines outstanding power and performance characteristics with a truly spacious interior. The cabin furnishes an office-like environment for those who want to conduct en route business and a retreat for others who desire some peace and quiet. The stand-up cabin provides ample room to move about and utilize the many amenities designed for maximum in-flight comfort and productivity. The cabin measures a lengthy 17'8" and provides 5'8" headroom throughout. The Learjet 60's emphasis on cabin width contributes to its expansiveness. While seated in the Learjet 60's executive suite, you will enjoy wide chairs with lumbar support that provide ample shoulder and headroom for their occupants. Panorama's Learjet 60 offers a wide range of interior features that were carefully designed for long-range travel. Trip enhancing amenities abound in the cabin, including a beautifully appointed galley featuring a warming oven, a 7-place stereo sound system equipped with a multi-disc CD/cassette player and two television monitors which are capable of displaying either DVD videos or en route flight information. The spacious stand-up aft lavatory area occupies the full width of the cabin, provides enough room to change clothing and enables our passengers to enjoy optimum privacy. It also features a flat floor surface, full length closet, hot and cold running water basin, and cosmetics center with lighted mirror.
The Learjet 60 possesses an extraordinary amount of luggage space compared to other mid-size aircraft. The main baggage compartment measures 26 cubic feet and is easily accessible during flight. There are also two additional baggage compartments, which offer an added 33 cubic feet of storage space.
